Our client is seeking a reliable and caring Caretaker to join a nurturing primary school in Slough on an ASAP basis. This is a key role within the school, supporting a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for young pupils, staff, and visitors.

The Role
* Day-to-day maintenance and care of the school buildings and grounds
* Opening and closing the school site as required
* Carrying out basic repairs, DIY, and general upkeep
* Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed across the site
* Monitoring site security and reporting issues promptly
* Supporting school events and occasional out-of-hours requirements
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Previous experience as a Caretaker, Site Assistant, or Facilities Assistant
* Practical maintenance and DIY skills
* Good knowledge of health & safety procedures
* A reliable, flexible, and hands-on approach
* The ability to work independently and manage priorities
* An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
