We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Business Support Manager to join our Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) programme team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This 12‑month fixed‑term post offers an excellent secondment opportunity to develop skills within a busy, evolving service. The successful candidate will provide high‑quality business, operational and administrative support to CDC services.
Job Responsibilities
* Provide management support and leadership to the Service Manager (CDC) in the development and delivery of growth in Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs).
* Support transformational change across diagnostic services, contributing to the delivery of accessible, patient‑centred, high‑quality, community‑based pathways in line with NHS priorities and local healthcare partners.
* Provide operational, administrative and business support to the CDCs across Leeds.
* Support effective delivery, performance and continuous improvement of CDC services, ensuring high standards of patient care, efficiency and service delivery.
* Coordinate day‑to‑day operations, performance monitoring, service development and workforce planning, ensuring national and local diagnostic targets are achieved.
* Manage activity, waiting lists, data reporting, governance processes and financial monitoring.
* Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills.
* Ability to build effective relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
* Experience in planning, coordination and delivery of services, ensuring responsiveness, efficiency and patient‑centred outcomes.
* Experience in performance management, service development and day‑to‑day operations.
* Experience in continuous improvement and transformational change.
* Experience working in an NHS or comparable healthcare environment is desirable.
