Regional Support Manager Childrens Residential Services Salary: £60,000 Quarterly Bonus Locations: North | Midlands | South (flexible base) Full-time | Regional travel required A national provider of childrens residential services is recruiting three Regional Support Managers to support homes across the North, Midlands and South. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role focused on stabilising services, improving quality and ensuring positive outcomes for children and young people. The role The Regional Support Manager will provide practical, operational and strategic support to Registered Managers and staff teams across approximately six homes per region, intervening where additional leadership, capacity or expertise is required. You will work alongside regional operational leaders (Responsible Individuals) and senior management to ensure homes are compliant, stable and continuously improving. Travel requirements will vary depending on service needs, with homes typically located within one hour of each other in a region. Key responsibilities Provide parachute and interim leadership support to residential homes when needed Coach, mentor and develop Registered Managers and teams Conduct audits, identify risks early and implement improvement plans Support services to meet safeguarding, regulatory and Ofsted requirements Promote safe, nurturing and therapeutic environments Support home registration in exceptional circumstances (not a core requirement) About you Essential: Relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management - Health & Social Care or equivalent) Significant leadership experience within childrens residential care Strong knowledge of safeguarding regulations, Ofsted standards and legislation Proven ability to stabilise, support and improve residential services Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regionally Desirable: Experience working in trauma-informed or therapeutic care environments Whats on offer £60,000 salary plus quarterly bonus Flexible regional placement (North, Midlands or South) Opportunity to influence and improve multiple services Supportive senior leadership and development opportunities All appointments are subject to enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references.
