We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly nursery team in Wickford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a warm, safe, and stimulating environment.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality early years education and care, helping children thrive through engaging activities and positive relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children aged 0–5 years
* Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
* Support children’s emotional, social, and educational development
* Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
* Build positive partnerships with parents and carers
* Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times
* Work effectively as part of a supportive nursery team
Requirements
* Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
* Good understanding of the EYFS framework
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
* Previous nursery experience preferred but not essential
