New Business Development Manager

Ultima | Reading (Hybrid — 2 days/week)

Are you a proven new business hunter with MSP experience, ready to sell managed and professional services at the highest level? Ultima is one of the UK’s leading IT services businesses, and we’re looking for a driven New Business Development Manager to expand our client base and fuel our growth.

This is a new business role. You’ll focus on opening doors, building relationships, and closing deals for Ultima’s managed services, cloud, security, networking and professional services solutions. No farming, no account management — just pure sales growth, backed by world‑class support.


What you’ll do

* Win new logo customers across mid‑market and enterprise, positioning Ultima’s managed and professional services.
* Leverage SDR‑ and marketing‑qualified leads to accelerate pipeline growth.
* Engage senior stakeholders — from IT directors to C‑suite — with consultative, value‑led selling.
* Collaborate with technical experts to deliver tailored proposals that resonate.
* Own the sales cycle end‑to‑end: from prospecting to negotiation to closure.
* Build a robust pipeline and consistently exceed sales targets.


What you’ll bring

* Essential: Experience selling for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) in a new business capacity.
* Proven success in selling managed and professional services to new customers.
* Strong understanding of cloud, cybersecurity, networking, and workplace transformation.
* Exceptional communication skills, from boardroom presentations to technical discussions.
* A self‑starter mindset: resilient, target‑driven, and motivated by success.
