About the Role The Student Fees & Liaison Manager is responsible for overseeing key areas of student fees work and coordinating elements of internal and external communications, supporting a dynamic and crucial area of the University’s administration. The post- holder will report to the Student Fees Manager. The post-holder’s responsibilities include overseeing specific areas of student fees case work, leading on communication with the section’s various stakeholders; and contributing to the research and formulation of student fees and funding policy. The post-holder will display a clear commitment to improving the student and applicant experience and be comfortable working across a broad and fast-moving portfolio. They will demonstrate excellent organisational and analytical skills, allied to personal resilience. A strong communicator, the post-holder will understand the needs of multiple audiences and demonstrate the ability to operate effectively independently and within a team, as well as the ability to supervise the work of others… About You

About Us Student Fees and Funding is part of the Academic Administration Division (AAD), one of the largest units within the University Administration and Services and headed by the Academic Registrar. The work of the team spans the following areas:
8. Management of publication and maintenance and reconciliation of fee data, amounting to £500m per year
9. Management of several student loan schemes including over £60m of Student Loans Company (SLC) loans and $17m of US federal loans;
10. Co-ordination of the collection of the University Continuation Charge and the administration of formal non-payment of fees procedures;
11. Provision of information relating to all aspects of fees and funding, supporting prospective and current students and the collegiate University
12. Key contributions to policy and development in relation to University fees and student support for both postgraduates and undergraduates
13. Administration of a range of financial support (including undergraduate bursaries, hardship funding, international opportunities including the Erasmus+ programme, the Turing scheme, and other on-course awards);
14. Management of a graduate scholarship portfolio of 193 existing scholarship schemes worth £29m pa and a small but growing number of undergraduate scholarship schemes;
15. Working within the wider University to develop and implement new funding opportunities for Oxford’s applicants from both the UK and around the world, to ensure we can attract the most able candidates;
16. Working on student support fundraising, in close conjunction with the Development Office
