About the role
Are you passionate about supporting others and making a genuine difference in your local community? We are looking for a dedicated Carer Link Worker to join our team and provide vital support to unpaid Carers across Badenoch & Strathspey.
Responsibilities
* Deliver a locally embedded information and advice service ensuring Carers can access timely, accurate and relevant support close to where they live.
* Act as a key point of contact for Carers seeking guidance or connection, working at the heart of the community.
* Engage in outcome-focused, person-centred conversations to help Carers explore what matters most, identify their needs, and understand available options.
* Develop Adult Carer Support Plans (ACSP) and carry out regular reviews to monitor progress and adapt support as circumstances change.
* Engage actively within the local community, build strong local relationships, raise awareness of carer support, and proactively reach Carers who may not yet be connected to services.
* Collaborate with health, social care, and third sector partners to ensure Carers’ voices, rights and needs are recognised within local planning and service delivery.
