Role Overview: EYFS Leader
As the EYFS Leader, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of our Nursery and Reception children. You will lead a team of enthusiastic practitioners, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning are maintained. Your responsibilities will include:
* Curriculum Leadership: Oversee the planning and implementation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the statutory framework and meets the needs of all learners.
* Team Management: Lead, inspire, and support a dedicated team of early years practitioners, fostering a culture of continuous professional development.
* Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess children’s development and progress, using data to inform practice and provide targeted support.
* Parental Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers, involving them in their child’s education and promoting a partnership approach.
* Safeguarding and Welfare: Ensure the highest standards of care and safety are maintained, creating a nurturing environment where children feel secure and happy.
Ideal Candidate
* A qualified teacher with QTS and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in teaching Nursery or Reception.
* A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and best practices in early childhood education.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to fostering a positive school community.
Salary
We offer a competitive salary on the Inner London Pay Scale (M3 - UP1), ranging from £44,238 to £57,632, along with a TLR for the right candidate.
