An inviting and friendly Outer London school are seeking a SENDCO to join their 4-form entry sized school for the remainder of the academic year.
From the moment you enter the school Reception you are greeted with both professionalism and a warm hug! Staff really make the school and strive to ensure that everyone feels welcomed and supported at all times.
Led by an inspiring Headteacher with an open-door policy and desire to be present and 'seen' within school, staff here are fully supported and are given the autonomy to run their classrooms in the best way possible. Children are kind and respectful. and hail from a multitude of ethnic minority groups and thriving cultures.
The school is spiit over 2 floors with 2-3 school halls, ample 'break out' spaces avaialble, and great communal spaces. With excellent links to the central line the ideal Primary Teacher will thrive in teaching in a diverse and inclusive setting.
The successful SENDCO will be required carry out duties, not limited to
1. Lead Annual Reviews
2. model good teaching practice and inclusive learning techniques
3. Be able to advise next steps
4. Support and train support staff
5. Apply for ECHP's
6. Liaaise with parents and external agencies
7. be class based 1 day of the week
The school is easily accessible from all East London Central line stations.
Requirements
The desired SENDCO will have;
- A resilient and dedicated work ethic
- Hold a NASENCO qualification, or have a deep understanding of the role
- QTS
