Senior Quantity Surveyor (Contract)
Location: Swindon & surrounding areas
Sector: Infrastructure / Civils / Utilities
We are currently recruiting for a Contract Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading infrastructure contractor, supporting the wider commercial team on projects across Swindon and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QS to take ownership of the commercial management of live infrastructure works on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Full commercial management of assigned infrastructure projects
Preparation and completion of monthly commercial reports (CVR / DES)
Submitting client Applications for Payment (AFP)
Managing project procurement activities
Producing and maintaining accurate cost forecasts
Assessing supply chain AFPs and agreeing final accounts
Cost control and value maximisation
Identifying, managing, and mitigating commercial risks
Maximising cash flow and cash collection
Commercial administration throughout the project lifecycle
Required Experience & Qualifications:
Educated to BSc Quantity Surveying level or equivalent
Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
Previous experience working on civil engineering, infrastructure, or utilities projects
Proven experience operating as a Senior Quantity Surveyor (or a strong QS with relevant infrastructure experience)
Ability to work autonomously while supporting the wider commercial team
