Our client, a prominent player in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a skilled Second Line IT Analyst to join their team on a contract basis in Wimborne.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing second line IT support, managing and resolving incidents in a timely manner
* Monitoring system performance to ensure optimal operation and identifying areas for improvement
* Collaborating with first line support and other IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery
* Assisting in the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure and software
* Implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with established procedures
* Maintaining accurate documentation of issues and solutions
* Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
* Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT service quality
Job Requirements
* Experience in an IT support role, with a particular focus on second line support
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software applications
* Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders
* Proficiency in using IT support software and tools
* Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Candidates will be required to go through a baseline security clearance check before starting. This can take up to 4+ weeks.
