What Youll Be Doing:
Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil with additional needs
Supporting literacy, numeracy, and communication development
Helping manage behaviour using positive reinforcement techniques
Collaborating with teachers, SENCO, and external specialists
Monitoring and recording progress and behaviour
Creating a calm, engaging, and safe learning environment
Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant For this Islington School:
Graduate with a 2:1 or above (Psychology, Education or related degrees welcome)
Interest in working with children with SEND
Passionate about early years and inclusive education
Calm, patient, and emotionally intelligent
Looking for long-term experience before PGCE, Schools Direct or Ed Psych pathways
Able to commit full-time, Monday to Friday
