Position Overview
Retail Security Officer at ASEL, a part of the Argenbright Holdings Group. This role requires a visible deterrence, incident response, reporting, and collaboration with local authorities and management. Base hourly pay is £12.50, with a 4‑hour shift on Saturdays from 18:00 to 22:00 at the Bramley site.
Responsibilities
* Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity.
* Assess and identify vulnerabilities, and work proactively to minimise risk.
* Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable.
* Manage vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid causing distress.
* Complete colleague and contractor searches in line with company policy.
* Digitally report incidents and use tablets/phones for daily activity planning.
* Provide detailed and legible incident reports to assist the client and local authorities.
Qualifications
* Valid SIA Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor licence.
* Previous experience in a retail security role is an advantage but not essential; full training will be provided.
* Ability to provide a full 5‑year verifiable work or education history.
* Current right‑to‑work documents and proof of address for background checks.
