A welcoming and inclusive specialist school in Milton Keynes is seeking a dedicated SEN PE Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from September. Working within a supportive SEN environment, you will play a key role in helping students achieve both their physical and personal development goals, creating positive experiences that encourage participation, independence, and success.

Key Responsibilities - SEN PE Teacher, Milton Keynes

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive PE lessons tailored to the individual needs of SEN pupils
• Adapt sports, activities, and teaching approaches to ensure all students can participate and achieve success
• Promote physical wellbeing, confidence, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles
• Support students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties
• Create a positive, safe, and structured learning environment that encourages participation and personal growth
• Assess and monitor student progress, celebrating achievements and adapting support where required
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, pastoral teams, and parents to support pupil development
• Contribute to extracurricular activities, sports events, and wider school enrichment opportunities where appropriate

The Ideal Candidate - SEN PE Teacher, Milton Keynes

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• PE specialist with experience teaching Physical Education across Key Stages
• Experience working with students with special educational needs, or a strong desire to develop within an SEN setting
• Excellent behaviour management and relationship-building skills
• Creative, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
• Strong commitment to inclusion and pupil wellbeing
• Passion for helping young people develop confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards physical activity
