About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to operate within a business partnering model, providing expert advice and support to managers across a full range of employment matters.
You will play a key role in supporting employee relations, delivering change programmes, and enabling managers to make informed, fair, and legally compliant decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality HR advice and guidance to managers on employment matters
* Support and coach managers on employee relations issues including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance, and redundancy
* Assist with change management activities such as restructures and TUPE transfers
* Analyse HR data to identify trends and support effective decision-making
* Contribute to HR projects and organisational initiatives
* Support the development and delivery of HR policies and training
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies
* Build effective relationships with stakeholders, including trade unions
About You
* Proven experience in a generalist HR role
* Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
* Experience supporting managers with complex employee relations cases
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
* Ability to analyse data and present clear insights
* Organised and able to manage competing priorities
Qualifications
* A Level (or equivalent) – Essential
* CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) – Desirable
* Degree (or equivalent) – Desirable
