About the Role - Bodyshop Advisor / Receptionist
We're looking for a confident and professional Bodyshop Advisor / Receptionist to join our award-winning bodyshop team at Drive Motor Retail Bury St Edmunds.
As the first point of contact for our customers, you'll play a vital role in delivering a seamless and friendly experience throughout their repair journey. Working alongside an experienced management and technical team, you'll ensure all administrative, estimating, and communication processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Welcoming customers in person and over the phone, ensuring a professional and friendly experience
* Booking in repair work and managing updates throughout the repair process
* Preparing estimates, invoices, and insurance-related documentation where required
* Providing clear and timely communication to customers on repair progress and completion times
* Supporting the bodyshop team with administrative and coordination duties
* Maintaining accurate job records and ensuring excellent attention to detail across all processes
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a motivated and customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering outstanding service.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience as a Bodyshop Advisor, Service Advisor, or in a customer service or administrative role (automotive experience preferred)
* Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skills
* Confidence in handling customer interactions both face-to-face and over the phone
* Strong IT literacy and familiarity with bodyshop or dealership systems (training provided if required)
* A positive attitude, professional manner, and commitment to maintaining high standards
