We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Manager to oversee daily operations, lead large teams, and ensure the highest service standards across multiple contracts. This is a hands‑on leadership role that combines people management, client engagement, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support Cleaning Supervisors and Operatives (15+ staff depending on site).
* Ensure high‑quality service delivery across cleaning, soft services, and facilities contracts.
* Schedule and conduct audits and inspections, whilst driving continuous improvement.
* Manage budgets and cost efficiencies across sites.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact.
* Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, including conducting training and enforcing safe practices.
* Drive team performance through coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
* Support induction, and development of staff.
* Oversee scheduling, rotas, and staff cover to ensure service continuity.
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a cleaning/management leadership role (healthcare, education, commercial, or industrial preferred).
* Knowledge of cleaning standards, industrial cleaning practices, and health & safety regulations.
* Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential for multi‑site travel).
* Right to Work in the UK (required).
* Enhanced DBS is required for this role
