Job Overview
We’re a fast‑changing, creative events company based in the heart of the city – and we’re looking for someone who can keep our finances running as smoothly as our events. It’s a busy, lively office, no two days are the same, and you’ll be right at the centre of it all. This role reports directly to the company directors and involves managing bookkeeping across several parts of the business, including venue management and event operations.
Responsibilities
* Managing all bookkeeping using Xero and Pleo
* Handling payroll, VAT returns, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
* Preparing profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
* Overseeing supplier payments and venue‑related finances
* Providing clear financial reporting to company directors
* Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and general cost management
Qualifications
* Proven bookkeeping experience in a small business
* Knowledge of Xero and Pleo
* Experience with ticketing or event platforms is a bonus (but not essential)
* Great attention to detail, calm under pressure, and comfortable in a fast‑changing environment
* Work visa required and experience working in the Irish financial and tax system essential
