The Role
You will take responsibility for a class within the EYFS phase, delivering engaging, child-centred learning tailored to early developmental needs. Working part-time, you’ll collaborate with experienced colleagues, benefit from a structured induction programme, and be mentored by skilled practitioners who will support your development every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, deliver and assess EYFS lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
• Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing classroom environment
• Use observations and data to support individual pupil development
• Engage with parents and carers to ensure strong home-school partnerships
• Work closely with other staff and contribute to whole-school initiatives
Requirements
Ideal Candidate:
• Holds QTS (or pending QTS) and is ready to start their ECT journey
• Passionate about early years education and child development
• A reflective practitioner eager to learn and grow
• Positive, proactive, and committed to inclusive education
