Cover Supervisor – Stevenage

Salary: £90–£120 per day (depending on experience)

Keep Education are recruiting an enthusiastic and dependable Cover Supervisor to support Secondary Schools in Stevenage and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced classroom supervisors seeking rewarding and flexible work.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused and complete set work.
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and support student engagement.
* Maintain classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
* Report feedback to teachers and senior staff regarding student progress and behaviour.
* Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and school procedures at all times.
Education & Experience
* Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
* A-Levels or a Degree preferred.
* Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable (e.g., Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, Sports Coach).
* Classroom management experience advantageous but not essential – guidance provided.
