Join our team as we grow the ASB & tenancy enforcement team. We are opening 2 posts for dedicated ASB officers to help us make a difference. You will work across the Lancashire area, delivering a professional, responsive and victim-focused Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and tenancy enforcement service. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where you will manage complex and high-risk cases, support vulnerable residents and work collaboratively to create safe, sustainable neighbourhoods.

Requirements
Outline of Key responsibilities as an ASB Officer
* Deliver a high-quality ASB and tenancy enforcement service, managing cases from initial report through to resolution
* Investigate ASB, harassment, domestic abuse-related tenancy breaches and environmental nuisance
* Gather evidence through interviews, witness statements, risk assessments and home visits
* Assess and manage risk, ensuring safeguarding concerns are identified and escalated appropriately
* Apply relevant legislation including the Housing Acts, ASB, Crime & Policing Act 2014, Environmental Protection Act 1990 and Equality Act 2010
* Use a range of early intervention and enforcement tools including mediation, behavioural agreements and legal action
* Prepare legal documentation, liaise with solicitors and represent the organisation at court
* Work closely with partners including Police, Social Care, Mental Health teams and Community Safety Partnerships
* Provide trauma-informed support to victims and witnesses throughout the case lifecycle
* Maintain accurate case records and produce reports, statements and performance data
* Contribute to service improvement, policy development and sharing best practice
We're looking for someone who has
* Experience working with customers in complex or challenging situations
* Experience handling customer enquiries and complaints
* Experience within housing, community safety, policing, legal or similar environments
* Confidence in managing complex ASB or tenancy-related cases
* Strong knowledge of ASB or housing legislation, or the ability to learn quickly
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently, manage a varied caseload and meet deadlines
* Customer-focused, empathetic and professional approach
* Resilience and ability to manage sensitive and high-risk situations
* Confidence preparing and presenting cases in court
* You will also need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use, along with a flexible approach to working hours to meet service demands.
Benefits
* Starting salary of £37,977 per annum
* 27 days holiday (rising to 32 over 5 years' service) + bank holidays
* Hybrid working: plan your week by allocating one day for in-office collaboration with the team, with remaining days working from home, on the patch, or in court. Occasional adjustments may be needed.
