About The Role
The Support Worker will provide a structured, personalised resettlement service to every service user at Mildmay House. The aim is to support service users who have experienced homelessness to move into their own homes in a planned and supported way.
They will offer advice, training, information, and one-to-one/group support to help service users through this process. Support may include advice on housing rights, accompanying individuals to meetings, and practical assistance such as obtaining furniture and setting up payment plans for household bills.

2. Acting as a key-worker for a caseload of residents, supporting them to take ownership of their journey.
3. Providing practical help to move in, including managing benefit claims, liaising with support services, and assisting with domestic setups.
4. Conducting strengths-based assessments, co-producing person-centred plans, and supporting clients to achieve their goals.
5. Developing relationships with external agencies that can support service user needs, such as housing providers, health services, and charitable trusts.
About the Service:
Mildmay House is a 47-bed supported accommodation for single homeless males and females aged 16 and above, from diverse backgrounds. The environment is designed to be warm, respectful, and supportive, helping clients transition towards independent living.
