We're seeking a proactive, compassionate, and highly organised Attendance Officer to support our Hospital Short-Term Provision (Home Teaching) service. This essential role bridges the gap between education and home for pupils who cannot attend school. You’ll play a crucial role in: Encouraging and ensuring pupil attendance at both in-person and online lessons delivered in the home. Supporting the Centre Leader with planning and scheduling lessons. Carrying out home visits to help families prepare for home teaching, including completing risk assessments. Building strong relationships with pupils, families, and staff to reduce barriers to engagement and promote a positive learning experience. This is more than just an administrative post—you will be a key link in helping some of our most vulnerable learners reconnect with education. What We’re Looking For A strong communicator who’s confident in working with families, children, and professionals. Experience in attendance, safeguarding, or family support work is highly desirable. Someone who thrives in a flexible, fast-paced, and people-focused role. Strong planning and IT skills for managing tutor deployment and lesson tracking.
