Job Description
New Directions are currently recruiting Welsh Medium Teachers to work in Secondary Schools in the Flintshire area. There are various day-to-day, part time and full time roles available, with an immediate start. There is also a possibility that these roles could turn into long term positions. These roles would also be an excellent opportunity for both Newly Qualified Teacher’s (NQT’s) as well as more experienced teachers.
To be successful you must be a dedicated education professional. It is essential that you are able to effectively build relationships with both colleagues and pupils, providing a safe and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism
2. Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
3. Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
4. Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
5. Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
6. Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools
