This role is crucial in delivering complex projects that align with regulatory standards and enhance operational efficiencies. Role Overview As the Financial Crime Change Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing specific project aspects and reporting to the Project/Programme Manager. You will lead workstreams, contribute to multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure timely delivery of project tasks. Your ability to communicate clearly across teams will be vital in addressing queries, managing risks, and driving project success. Key Responsibilities Manage and report on assigned tasks within project timelines. Lead smaller-scale projects independently or under light supervision. Collaborate with business end users and project leads to maintain documentation and track progress. Identify and recommend process improvements and controls based on analytical insights. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes and contribute innovative solutions. Ensure effective communication within project teams and facilitate SteerCo meetings. Qualifications and Experience Proven experience in the financial services sector or understanding of the regulatory framework. Experience with financial crime transformation projects is desirable. Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and an inquisitive mindset. Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment. Industry-recognised Project Management qualification is preferred but not essential. Skills Required Payments and monitoring fraud transactions expertise. Project and change management proficiency. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Effective team collaboration and documentation/reporting skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a broader team effort.
