SHEQ Engineer
Job Description
Lead and enhance the company’s SHEQ management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and ISO standards.
Manage incident reporting and investigations, completing root cause analysis and driving corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct internal audits, supplier assessments, and risk evaluations, ensuring actions are tracked to closure.
Support CDM requirements and maintain essential project documentation including H&S files, inspection plans, and audit records.
Monitor and report on SHEQ KPIs, ESG data, training compliance, and overall performance metrics.
Provide practical SHEQ guidance to project teams and act as a key liaison with clients, auditors, and regulatory authorities.SHEQ Engineer
Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
Proven background in a SHEQ, HSE, or quality-driven engineering position.
HNC/HND qualification (or equivalent) in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a relevant field.
Practical understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
NEBOSH certification (or similar) alongside experience conducting audits.
Competent in reading technical drawings with knowledge of fabrication and welding practices.
Effective communicator with solid IT skills and flexibility to travel when necessary.SHEQ Engineer
