Role Overview

Were looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Data Centres) to join a growing IT Services and Consultancy business. This is a senior, hands-on field role suited to engineers who like being on the move, enjoy practical problem-solving, and can adapt to changing schedules.


Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out full lifecycle activities across audit, installation, migration, and decommissioning of IT and network infrastructure.
2. Perform audits and discovery to identify and document equipment, connectivity, and power usage, producing accurate and detailed records.
3. Manage installations and relocations of network, server, and storage hardware within data centres, offices, and trading floors.
4. Deliver structured patching, including complex high-density patching across network and compute environments.
5. Build, install, and commission racks, cabinets, and containment structures, including fabrication and mounting activities.
6. Carry out pre-cabling and pre-patching to prepare migration and transformation sites.
7.
