We are seeking to appoint a highly organised, proactive and experienced Office and Financial Services Manager to lead and develop our administrative systems and support the smooth day-to-day running of the school. Term time 2 additional weeks - 37 hours per week. £39,152.00 - £44,075.00 pro rata Actual salary £35,875.00 - £40,386.00 This is a pivotal role within our school community, providing strategic and operational leadership across administration, finance, HR support and organisational management The role The successful candidate will: Organise and deliver effective administrative systems across the school Lead and manage members of the support staff team Provide administrative and organisational support to the Senior Leadership Team and Governing Body Manage financial administration, including payroll processes, monitoring expenditure and budget support Oversee manual and computerised record systems and produce reports as required Support school trips, events, procurement, marketing and facilities administration Deal with complex reception matters and build positive relationships with pupils, parents and the wider community The Office Manager plays a central role in ensuring our school runs efficiently while maintaining a welcoming and professional front-of-house presence. What we are looking for We are seeking a candidate who has: Essential Experience Proven experience in managing and operating administrative systems in schools Management experience, including leading and developing staff Experience of budget and financial systems management Qualifications NVQ Level 3 in Business and Administration (or equivalent qualification or relevant experience) Skills & Knowledge Excellent numeracy, literacy and ICT skills Strong organisational and prioritisation skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate well to both children and adults Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures and legislation Personal Attributes Builds strong professional relationships and promotes excellent customer care Demonstrates leadership, accountability and initiative Supports team development and fosters a positive team ethos Values diversity and promotes equal opportunities Safeguarding Commitment Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
