This is a flexible, short-term opportunity ideal for passionate graduates seeking classroom experience before applying for teacher training such as a PGCE or SCITT. You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in education, supporting students aged 11–16, while developing essential classroom skills. Key Responsibilities: • Manage classroom behaviour in the absence of the class teacher • Support the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons • Assist with lesson planning and classroom management • Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups • Inspire and motivate students across different subjects • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment Person Specification: Essential: • A degree (BSc/BA or equivalent) • A genuine passion for education and working with young people • Confidence to supervise and manage a classroom • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Right to work in the UK • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Desirable: • Experience working with children or in a school setting • Interest in pursuing teacher training (PGCE, SCITT, etc.) • Flexible availability Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM Why Join Cover People?
