15 hours per week – (Suits flexible candidate)
Hours based on:
• Friday – 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Monday & Wednesday – 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
(Some additional hours may be available to cover running late!)
Rate:
* £13.00 per hour
Job Purpose:
* To assist me, a wheelchair user with cerebral palsy, with day-to-day activities, enabling me to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that aligns with my chosen lifestyle.
* I am a qualified fitness instructor, so this role is ideal (but not essential) for anyone interested in gym, sports, healthy eating, and diet.
* My interests include football, F1, console gaming, and I enjoy playing all kinds of games and watching movies. I also love nature, including visiting zoos and nature parks.
Work Duties May Include/Helping with:
• Personal care and support with going to the toilet
Supporting with:
• Accessing social activities
• Going to the gym
• Socialising with friends
• Going for lunch and getting out and about in the community
• Mobility, ensuring my safety
• Bus travel
Other Requirements:
• Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns
• Assisting with management of my health risks
• Establishing and maintaining effective communication
• Maintaining confidentiality
Location & Additional Information:
• Work will be within my home in Henbury and the local area
• 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year
• Friendly and flexible employer
