Lead and scale Spabreaks’ digital growth. Own PPC-led strategy, optimise ROAS through data-driven insight, and expand channels while balancing hands-on delivery with strategic leadership.
Purpose
As the Head of Digital at Spabreaks.com, you will lead the strategic development and hands-on execution of our digital marketing strategy across all channels. This role combines strategic leadership with operational expertise to drive customer acquisition, optimise ROAS, and scale our digital presence across existing and emerging channels.
The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and data-driven, using performance insights to inform campaign optimisation, budget allocation, and strategic decision-making. With PPC as our primary acquisition channel, deep expertise in this area is essential, alongside the ability to expand into complementary digital channels to diversify and strengthen our marketing mix.
Responsibilities
* Lead and execute our digital marketing strategy, with channels including PPC, YouTube Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, Affiliates
* Develop and implement strategic plans to expand and diversify our channel mix, such as programmatic and emerging platforms
* Monitor and respond to the evolving digital landscape, leading AI adoption initiatives and adapting strategies to market changes
* Execute hands-on campaign management including implementation, testing, optimisation, and troubleshooting across all platforms
* Own performance optimisation across all digital channels, ensuring maximum ROAS and efficient budget allocation based on data-driven insights
* Manage and develop a small team plus external contractors, providing guidance, support, and performance management
* Establish and monitor comprehensive reporting frameworks and dashboards to track channel performance, budget pacing, and ROI
* Conduct regular analysis of campaign performance, customer acquisition costs, and lifetime value to inform strategic decisions and budget allocation
* Collaborate with other teams across the business, including brand, products & development teams to ensure campaign alignment with broader marketing objectives
* Present performance insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders
Qualifications
* Experience in digital marketing with deep expertise in PPC, including managing significant budgets
* Expert-level proficiency with Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Display, Performance Max, YouTube) plus strong experience with Meta Ads and Bing Ads
* Solid understanding of SEO, affiliate marketing, and other digital acquisition channels with ability to integrate cross-channel strategies
* Highly analytical and data-driven with advanced performance analysis skills, including attribution modeling, customer journey analysis, and incrementality testing
* Strategic thinker with strong hands-on execution capabilities - comfortable working at both strategic and tactical levels simultaneously
* Proven track record of scaling digital channels while maintaining or improving efficiency metrics and ROAS
* Proficient with analytics and reporting platforms (GA4, Tableau or similar) with ability to build custom dashboards and translate complex data into actionable insights
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, including presenting data-driven recommendations to senior leadership
* Experience in travel, e-commerce, or marketplace businesses highly beneficial; familiarity with CRO principles and A/B testing frameworks advantageous
