At Royal Mail, Christmas is our busiest and most magical time of the year and we couldn’t do it without the support of our Seasonal Mail Sorters. This is your chance to be part of something meaningful and help deliver festive cheer to millions across the UK.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Mail Sorter, you’ll be working in one of our fast-paced mail centres, supporting the smooth flow of parcels, cards, and letters at the heart of Royal Mail’s Christmas operation.
Your daily duties will include:
* Unloading mail and parcels from delivery vans.
* Sorting mail by hand and machine, according to postcode and destination.
* Moving mail around the warehouse using trolleys and manual handling techniques.
* Switching between tasks as required to keep everything running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
* Flexible and adaptable – ready to move between roles if needed.
* Available to work 5 days out of 7 (including weekends where required).
* Punctual, dependable, and ready to work early morning shifts.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
* Able to lift bags up to 15kg.
Pay & Hours of work
* £14.48 per hour.
* 2:30pm - 10:00pm
* Based in Atherstone
