Overview:
We are seeking a Pharmacy Admin Assistant with excellent communication skills to join our Pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will answer patient inquiries relating to prescriptions and product information, action daily pharmacy administration tasks and provide administration support. THIS IS A UK BASED ON SITE ROLE.
Some of the responsibilities and duties for the role will include:
· Answering phone calls regarding patient prescription queries and product information
· Patient contact for prescription and payments
· Counting daily prescriptions received and logging
· Addressing emails
· Liaising with clinics and healthcare professionals regarding patient queries
· End of month duties for prescription count
· Carrying out administrative tasks relating to Import/Export of CBM's
· Directing requests and unresolved issues to the designated person
· Keeping records of customer interactions and transactions
· Recording details of enquiries, comments and complaints and actions taken
· Communicating and co-coordinating with internal departments
-Various ad hoc admin duties
Experience:
* Proven experience as Customer Service/Admin Assistant or similar role
* Excellent communication skills (both written and Oral) and phone etiquette
* Desirable experience of interacting with patients and working as a team member
* Pharmacy background desirable
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
* Ability to self-manage and prioritise and plan effective and manage self in a proactive way
* Well-developed interpersonal skills coupled with an ability to prioritise workload
* Accurate keyboard skills
* Team player
Qualifications:
GCSE or equivalent level
Numerate & IT literate
Excellent command of the English language
Strong working knowledge of MS Office
Experience using SAP an advantage
