Quantity Surveyor - Major Industrial Build (£25M Project)

Salary: £60,000 - £85,000 + package (DOE)

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a flagship £25M industrial development in the Wembley / Heathrow region. This is an excellent opportunity to take commercial responsibility on a high-profile project with a contractor known for delivering large‑scale industrial, logistics, and commercial schemes across the UK.
The Role
You will play a key role in the commercial management of a new‑build industrial facility, involving steel‑frame construction, external works, and specialist subcontract packages.
* Managing commercial aspects of the project from procurement through to final accounts
* Preparing and reviewing subcontract tenders, contracts, and valuations
* Monitoring cost control, forecasting, and reporting to senior management
* Ensuring contract compliance and managing risk throughout the project lifecycle
* Collaborating closely with project management, design, and site teams to ensure smooth delivery
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor
* Experience on industrial sheds, logistics units, or large steel‑frame builds is highly desirable
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex subcontract packages
* Solid understanding of JCT or NEC contracts
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
