Our Client, Tameside Council, is seeking an Adult’s Team Manager to join their Mental Health Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
* Providing professional supervision, support, and performance management to Social Workers, Senior Social Workers, and support staff.
* Fostering a team culture that promotes person-centred care, independence, and recovery.
* Managing staff training, continuous professional development (CPD), and dealing with HR matters like sickness or disciplinary issues.
* Overseeing the allocation of cases, intake, and regular clinical reviews to ensure safe and timely interventions.
* Leading on complex case management and ensuring high standards of assessment, support planning, and review.
* Managing safeguarding investigations, ensuring compliance with statutory duties and local authority procedures.
Requirements of this role:
* Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
* Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
* Must have minimum of 3 years experience working as a Qualified social worker
