About Day Oncology – Brighton
Our 20-chair Day Oncology Unit at Cabrini Brighton provides patients with a comprehensive range of cancer treatments, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care. About the role
As a Registered Nurse in our Day Oncology Unit, you will provide holistic care throughout the treatment journey — from education and chemotherapy administration to patient assessment, follow-up, and referral. You’ll be part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team committed to delivering excellence in care and patient experience.
Key responsibilities
6. Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team.
7. Delivering care to patients to meet Cabrini’s organisational goals.
8. Demonstrating attention to the needs of the patient and family to maintain privacy, dignity and confidentiality.
9. Work respectfully within the team to deliver excellent patient care within the framework of the Cabrini Mission and Values.
About you
You’re a compassionate and experienced oncology nurse with a strong commitment to quality care and teamwork. You bring sound clinical skills, great attention to detail, and a patient-focused mindset.
You’ll also have:
10. Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
11. Minimum 3 years’ experience in medical oncology/chemotherapy
12. Postgraduate qualifications in Oncology (completed or in progress)
13. Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
