Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Regional Plumbing Technician to join our Estates team here at Maria Mallaband Care Group.
This is role would suit somebody living in and around the Milton Keynes area due to the role covering our Care Homes across the South of the Estate.
Offering a salary up to £35,000, company van and paid mileage.
The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of an effective national water hygiene service to ensure MMCG meets its statutory responsibilities and provides safe working environments for the residents, employees and those affected by our undertaking.
Key Responsibilities
1. Annual TMV's servicing to ensure they fail safe if the cold water supply is interrupted.
2. To remove, inspect, clean, descale, and disinfect and strainers or filters associated with the TMV's
3. To work with MMCG colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are maintained at all times.
4. Check monthly tap temperature checks undertaken by Maintenance Operatives
5. Visit allocated Care Homes annually.
6. To ensure correct paperwork is completed during site visits and all faults reported to the Property Manager/ your line manager within 24 hrs.
7. Ensure compliance with water regulations are adhered to, reporting all non-compliance.
