About the Role
A caring and inclusive primary school in Preston is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full‑time basis. This role involves providing tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs, helping them access learning, build confidence, and thrive in the classroom.

Your Responsibilities
* Providing 1:1 or small‑group SEN support
* Implementing targeted learning strategies under teacher/ SENCO guidance
* Supporting pupils with a range of needs, such as ASD, ADHD, speech & language, SEMH, or learning delays
* Helping pupils regulate emotions and behaviour
* Assisting with classroom routines and personalised learning plans
* Promoting independence, engagement, and wellbeing
* Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents

* Experience supporting children with SEN (school‑based preferred)
* Calm, patient, and nurturing approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to follow personalised support plans
* Reliability and commitment to Monday–Friday, 08:45am–3:30pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
