1. Run your own clinical negligence caseload with support on high-profile group actions
2. Hybrid working in a modern city-centre office with genuine work-life balance
3. Bonus scheme, birthday leave and a culture that actually feels human
This role is built for lawyers who want to do meaningful work without losing sight of why they got into this area in the first place.
You’ll take ownership of your own clinical negligence caseload from day one, handling claims from initial instruction through to resolution. The work spans a broad mix, from misdiagnosis and surgical errors through to life-changing injuries, with the opportunity to get involved in larger, more complex and high-profile cases alongside senior colleagues.
In your first few months, the focus is on getting settled, understanding how the team operates and building relationships with clients, experts and counsel. After that, you’ll be trusted to run your caseload independently while continuing to develop your technical expertise.
There’s also variety here beyond day-to-day files. If you’re interested, you’ll have the chance to contribute to group actions and wider strategic cases, giving you exposure to work you might not see in more volume-driven environments.
The culture is grounded and straightforward. It’s supportive without being overly structured, professional without being corporate, and focused on doing the right thing for clients while looking after the people doing the work.
