Teaching Assistant Needed – Biggleswade
Start Date: November 2025 (New Term)
Contract: Until December 2025 (with potential extension into the New Year)
Pay: £85–£95 per day (PAYE)
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Biggleswade, Bedfordshire
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Biggleswade starting in November, just after the half-term break.
This is a full-time role initially running until December 2025, but there is a strong possibility of extension into the New Year, and even the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons
Work with small groups or individual pupils to support learning
Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
Assist with general classroom duties and preparation
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working with children or in a school setting (preferred but not essential)
A patient, caring, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting young learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
