The Role
As the first point of contact you will play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming and efficient front-office environment. This varied position combines front-of-house hospitality with essential administrative support for our accounting team.
Key Responsibilities
* First Impressions: Greet and assist visitors, clients and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
* Communication: Answer and direct phone calls, take accurate messages and respond to general email enquiries.
* Client Records: Manage incoming and outgoing client records including scanning, filing and processing mail deliveries, Diary Management. Co ordinate meeting room bookings.
* Finance Support: Assist with basic administrative tasks such as drafting Letters of Engagement and preparing client invoices.
* Office Maintenance: Ensure the reception area remains tidy and manage the ordering of office and kitchen supplies.
Essential Skills @ Qualifications
* Experience: Previous experience in a reception, administrative or client facing role is preferred.
* IT Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel) and familiarity with Teams or Zoom.
* Confidentiality: A solid understanding of GDPR and the importance of professional conduct and data security.
* Interpersonal: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Education: GCSEs in English and Maths (grade 4/C or above) are typically required.
