General Assistant - Bristol At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for General Assistant to work with a leading company in Food manufacturing. You will be working for the client in Bristol. Shift Patterns: You will work on a 5 days on, 3 days off schedule - usually 06:30-16:00 (Flexibility may be required during busy periods. Pay Rates: 13.01 GBP hourly Overtime is £19.52 paid after 40 hours in a week As a General Assistant you will need to have: You must provide a full 5-year work, and/or education and address history. If you lived outside the UK for over 6 months, an overseas criminal record check will be required. A Basic DBS check is mandatory for airside clearance (we will support you in obtain this), and you must have no unspent or suspended convictions that prevent clearance. You must hold long-term UK work rights (British passport, ILR or Settled Status). An HMRC employment letter is required. You must live within 40 minutes of site for early shifts including weekends. As General Assistant, it would be desirable to have: Previous experience in a similar fast-moving, trolley-based or temperature-controlled environment is preferred but not essential. Experience working within a diverse, multi-cultural team is an advantage. A Food Safety Level 2 certificate is desirable; however, training can be provided if required. Role of a General Assistant: Perform general duties within a food manufacturing setting. Assist with production line tasks as directed. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the work area.
