At Glasgow Pollokshaws Vets for Pets we are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to come and join our lovely team. The practice team is looking for a part- time vet to work alongside an established team of 4 Vets, 3 RVN’s including their very experienced Head Nurse, an SVN (who is soon to qualify as an RVN) an ACA, and non-clinical team of 4 receptionist and practice manager. We are a well-established small animal practice, which has been purpose built to market leading standards.

The practice is independently run, by Michelle for over 10 years. She is supported by a fantastic team, who are committed to delivering an outstanding level of service in the community and through this they have enables a real “proud to be part of the team” work ethos. The practice has been recognised by RCVS practice standards scheme at GP level.
As an experienced vet with a growth mind-set, the capability to work sole charge, completing both consults and surgeries daily so all your skills can be fully utilised. Perhaps you would like to complete a certificate, have specific CPD in mind we would certainly encourage you to progress with your ambitions. Michelle, our experienced vet and practice owner, would be delighted to have a discussion about your future ambitions and support you following you joining the practice.
Our consults are 15 minutes, with 30 minutes for new clients or complex cases and to ensure you have time you will have protected admin time.
This is a part time role working 30 hours per week, with 1 in 6 Saturdays (9am to 5pm) however this is flexible and we are open to discuss shift patterns and to help achieve that vital work life balance there is no OOH or Sunday work.
