We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger professional. This career opportunity is a rewarding position for a hardworking individual who would enjoy taking full responsibility and owning the role.
Duties:
1. All aspects of bank and paypal posting
2. Processing purchase ledger payments and Invoices
3. Employee expenses
4. Maintaining credit card receipts
5. Reconciling statements
6. Liaising with suppliers
7. Managing the Aged Creditors Control Account
8. Reconciling the various foreign and UK Quickbooks bank accounts month end balance to bank statements
9. Formally reporting bank balances on a weekly basis
10. Liaising with purchase ledger clerk and Financial Accountant
11. Responding to queries
12. Supporting the financial accountant with the month end processes including accruals and prepayments and bank reconciliations
Skills / Requirements:
13. Previous bank reconciliation experience
14. Previous multi-currency purchase ledger experience
15. IT literate with strong Excel skills
16. Excellent communication
17. Strong commercial sense
18. Proactive and driven approach
19. Ability to work quickly under pressure
20. High attention to detail
21. Quickbooks experience essential
