Morgan Hunt are delighted to be partnering with a public sector organisation in Dundee who are looking for a new procurement specialist.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end procurement activities including tendering, evaluation, and award processes.
* Manage supplier and contract performance across assigned categories.
* Conduct commercial and price negotiations to secure best value.
* Maintain up-to-date market and supplier intelligence.
* Promote compliance with procurement strategy, policy, and ethical standards.
* Advise stakeholders on procurement best practice and risk management.
* Collaborate with colleagues and senior stakeholders to deliver strategic procurement outcomes.
Essential Skills & Experience
* ideally be CIPS qualified
* Proven record of procurement achievement within public or private sector environments.
* Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and negotiation capability.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Experience in leading or mentoring within a procurement function.
