Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar and Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Bar and Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Duties
* Oversee daily pub and restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
* Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and enhancing team management skills.
* Collaborate with chefs to develop new menu items and improve food production techniques.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a high level of hospitality.
* Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
* Conduct regular inspections of the bar and restaurant to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Experience
* Proven experience in restaurants/ pubs or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
* Previous supervisory experience is essential, demonstrating effective leadership skills.
* Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with barista duties is an advantage, as well as any hotel or kitchen experience that enhances operational efficiency.
