Responsibilities
* You will plan and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons that explore a range of faiths, beliefs, and ethical perspectives.
* The role involves fostering students' critical thinking skills and promoting respect, tolerance, and understanding of diverse worldviews.
* You will cultivate a reflective and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore their own beliefs and engage in thoughtful discussions.
* You will assess and monitor student progress in Religious Education with care, providing constructive feedback that encourages their intellectual and personal development.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Religious Education or Theology is essential.
* Experience teaching engaging and effective RE lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
* A broad and current understanding of different religious traditions and ethical frameworks is expected.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom management and the ability to facilitate sensitive discussions, are vital.
