Working in a prosperous IT department, you will provide leadership and direction through the demonstration of project management skills across the Group, continuously improving toolkits, processes, and procedures contributing to the successful delivery of change initiatives. As a well established project manager, we know you will strive when it comes to driving and managing the delivery of projects to the required scope and quality, as well as being on time, and within budget. What your day to day responsibilities will be: Design and create realistic project plans to ensure that work packages are clearly defined, costed, and resourced and that risks, issues, assumptions, and decisions are clearly understood and managed. Work very closely with the Solution Architect to ensure the overall quality of the deliverables meets expectations. Manage project budget and expenditure providing alerts when necessary to the project team. Support the Lead Project Manager in delivering a portfolio that meets expectations ensuring that any changes to constituent projects are identified as early as possible. Manage production of required products as per project deliverables, including project control documents such as PID. Responsible for overall project progress initiating corrective action where necessary. Liaise with IT team members in the design and development of approved solutions that will be delivered via projects and will deliver business benefits. Skills and Qualifications Required: You will have a strong background working as an IT Project Manager. You have a recognised project management qualification and accreditation such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, PMI, APMP, or Agile. Have significant experience of delivering IT, Infrastructure, and Technical project management in a multi project and multi business unit environment. Full lifecycle implementation experience is required. Have an understanding of different Project Management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile and when these would be deployed and have managed projects to these standards. Know various project management tools to develop a comprehensive project work plan such as Work Breakdown Structure, Gantt and timeline diagrams, and resource schedules. Have experience in budget and expenditure management in a project environment.
