We’re looking for an insight analyst at Senior Associate level to reinforce PwC’s Insight Team in delivering high quality insight to the firm. We’re keen to hear from candidates with strategic thinking and analytical skills, translating information to insight. The job holder will have a solid grounding in secondary research, data analysis and developing commercial insights.
The Insight Team is part of the firm’s Sales and Marketing function, which encompasses all aspects of professional services marketing, sales support, and business development. The primary focus of this function is to support the development and implementation of the firm’s market strategy.
The team delivers insights across five pillars: Market, Brand, Competitor, Client, and Sales. You’ll collaborate with insight professionals from a broad range of disciplines, including data analysis/modelling, data visualisation, economic analysis, and primary and secondary research. The team provides our leaders with both an internal and external view of how the firm is positioned in the market and prides itself on analytical rigour.
What your days will look like:
1. Conduct secondary research, analysing and synthesising reports and data to draw out key findings.
2. Monitor and interpret major market developments and identify macro themes and trends affecting our clients and the professional services market.
3. Deliver key insight assets that help shape commercial and strategic decision-making.
4. Support Security Pillars in the annual Network Standard process including maintenance of documentation, review of security plans, coordination with member firms for remediations plans.
This role is for you if:
5. Recent experience in a professional services, research consultancy, legal or financial services environment with a proven ability to create high quality deliverables, which will provide a deeper understanding of the firm’s client base, competition and market.
6. Intellectually curious, commercially minded and a highly motivated self-starter.
7. Exceptional problem solving; capacity to learn quickly and execute accurately.
8. Analytical skills, comfortable working with quantitative data and detailed numerical analysis.
9. Interests in developing own data analysis and visualisation skills.
10. Strong orientation to working in teams.
11. Ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple manner.
