Role & Responsibilities:
* Collaborate closely with the Entertainment Manager to oversee all aspects of technical operations during events and performances
* Assist in organising and delivering training sessions for technical and production staff
* Develop a strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures and ensure compliance during all technical activities
* Support the creation and implementation of risk assessments and safe working practices in partnership with the Entertainment Manager, TAG Live®, and resort team
* Assist with scheduling and managing both in-house and freelance technical teams to meet production requirements
* Admin and planning of day-to-day events
* Help maintain accurate inventories of technical equipment and consumables, reporting needs promptly to relevant personnel
* Foster positive communication and teamwork among all technical and production staff
* Support with audio, lighting, and QLab operations during performances, including in-house productions, live bands, DJs, and other acts
* Support the Entertainment Manager with creating maintenance schedules for technical equipment and carry out checks and maintenance on technical equipment
* Coordinate and support the technical team during rehearsals, get-ins, set-ups, performances, and get-outs to ensure smooth running of shows
* Maintain a thorough knowledge of venue operations and ensure all technical aspects of daytime and evening shows run efficiently and to high standards
You could be the perfect person for this role if you
* Demonstrated experience working in theatre, live production, or live events
* Strong technical knowledge of current theatre and production equipment, with the ability to operate and troubleshoot as needed
* Proven experience of managing and motivating a technical team to achieve high levels of performance
* Knowledge of up to date H&S legislation and the ability to risk assess and create standard operating procedures
* Have good written and oral communication skills and has a knowledge of admin and planning
* Enjoy building relationships with team and guests
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards throughout all aspects of production
* Are open to flexible working patterns
* Are naturally well organised
* Can work well under pressure
* Are proactive with a problem solving attitude
* Familiarity with operating/programming digital sound desks, Titan lighting desks and Qlab is desirable
Salary & benefits:
£700 per week

Contract: Freelance fixed term contract
Location: near Chichester, West Sussex
The role will include split shifts dependant on entertainment programme and scheduling requirements.
Accommodation:
We have a limited number of caravans or basic university style accommodation available; you will share a caravan or flat with a communal kitchen and facilities with your team. All rooms are single occupancy and contain a single bed and mattress with fitted storage. These can be rented for a small weekly fee.
